HMAS Ovens
HMAS Ovens (S-70) was an Oberon class submarine laid down by Scott’s Shipbuilding and Engineering Company at Greenock in Scotland on 17 June 1966, launched on 4 December 1967 by the Viscountess Slim and commissioned on 18 April 1969.
HMAS Ovens paid off on 1 December 1995 and is preserved at the Western Australian Maritime Museum at Fremantle.
