HMCS Onondaga (S73)

HMCS Onondaga (S73) was an Oberon class submarine in the Royal Canadian Navy, later Canadian Forces. Built at Chatham Dockyard in England, Onondaga was commissioned into the RCN on 22 June 1968. Onondaga was based at Halifax, Nova Scotia until she was replaced by the newer Victoria class submarines. Decommissioned in 2000. She was recently sold to the Musée de la Mer in Rimouski, PQ, for $4 plus tax.

Onondaga served in the North Atlantic, but was never involved in a combat situation.
